Owner & Director

Alessandra's life philosophy is growth, evolution and a steady flow of energy. She believes that continuing education is a key factor in providing her clients with the most informed advice and treatments.

She began her career as an aesthetician in 2002, working at a  holistic spa, here, the practices of natural wellness sparked her interest and she set off on an adventure to learn the best ways of healing the skin and body in the most natural and holistic way. Growing up in Brazil for the first few years of her life, she was also exposed to beauty treatments like Brazilian bikini wax, which is one of her expertise.

In 2010 Alessandra set off on a new adventure to learn the practice of Yoga and Ayurveda. She completed her 500HR YTT at Downward Dog Yoga Center and Trained with Andrea Oliveira at Rituals Ayurveda School. Her education did not stop here, in 2018 Alessandra was certified as  Registered Massage Therapist. She's also completed training in Yoga Nidra Meditation, Theta Healing Meditation and Restorative Yoga.

Most recently Alessandra has been pouring her energy into completing her herbalism certification at the Gaia School of Healing in Vermont. She has completed 340hrs of training in Traditional Herbal Medicine and plant spirit communication. Her love for plant medicine continues to grow, along with a deep belief that plants are our allies and in order for us to help bring healing to  the world we must work in council with mother nature. In the spring of 2020 Alessandra will be teaching plant medicine as a faculty member of The Gaia School of Healing where she will teach year one apprentices how to step into this journey of self healing and empowerment.

Stay tuned for plant medicine workshops coming this January!

Registered Massage Therapist

I have always found the human body and soul combination to be fascinating

which lead me to understand it from the eastern to western point or view.

During my own personal journey of healing and achieving a balanced

lifestyle, I discovered a variety of self help tools that helped me and in turn

can assist you with your spiritual and physical journey and help you achieve

balance in your lifestyle where in today’s society can be difficult to do it on

your own.  As a Massage Therapist, I have learned to utilize my hands to help

locate the imbalance  and ultimately make my clients feel better.  During my

practice as a Massage Therapist, I decided to expand my learning in the

world of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). In 2011, I travelled from Tunisia

toToronto to attend the Shiatsu School of Canada where I completed my

certification for TCM Acupuncture. The  philosophy of TCM have become a

staple in my personal life, I became more

aware of how the body functions, the source of health issues, how emotions.

eating habits, environment and activities we do can have an impact on our

health and bodies. Today, I am able to do what I love – help people suffering

from chronic pain  and guide them towards solutions and overall improved wellbeing. By understanding the root cause of the imbalance and using a

variety of modalities such as, deep tissue massage, myofascial release,

trigger point release, Acupressure, Cupping, Acupuncture, Gua-Sha

(Graston), Auricular  acupuncture, Moxibustion and Tuina I help my clients

cope with their daily activities with ease.

Registered Massage Therapist

Tanya has been offering therapeutic bodywork since 2004 when she added introductory training in shiatsu to her hobby of massaging friends for fun. These years of experience and growing interest in physical and mental wellness led her to become a Certified Master Hypnotist in 2009, and a Registered Massage Therapist in 2018. In addition to standard training in Swedish massage, Tanya’s massage style is most influenced by Thai (using body weight and leverage), fascial/myofascial (stretching anatomical structures away from each other), rolfing (dragging skin and fascia), active release (engaging muscles during massage to help them release tension), and of course shiatsu (travelling compressions). While her deepest work is done with little to no oil or lotion, your preferences are her top priority.

Registered Yoga Teacher

Kate began her yoga practice in 2009 (while studying the performing arts at Randolph Academy) and completed her initial Yoga Teacher Training soon after, studying the Ashtanga Vinyasa tradition. She then went on to complete The Art Of Mysore, Advanced Teacher Training, which emphasized the importance of hands-on adjustments and therapeutic touch. She is currently working on her 500-hour RYT. Certified in Thai Yoga Massage and as a Level 2 Reiki practitioner, Kate brings elements from both of these traditions into her teaching style. She left her job working as a manager at a local record store to pursue teaching full time but hasn’t lost her love of vinyl. You can expect a strong emphasis on music in class. Through her classes she wishes to enable students to explore the body’s potential.
