Escape the high energy of the city and step into Laya, where every detail is considered and put in place to make sure that your experience is nurturing. Our mantra is health from within, living beautifully inside and out. We are an Ayurveda inspired spa and our aim is to bring forth the practices of Eastern Medicine as a platform for healing. We offer nourishing and wholesome services that help support your body in good health.
Laya is housed in a modern space that blends exotic Moroccan textiles and North African design with the edge and urbanity of West Queen West. Our large range of traditional services include signature treatments like natural facials, hair removal, massage therapy and other unique body treatments that are medicine for the soul.
Movement is medicine, our yoga class offerings include a variety of unique classes that honour all levels of practice. (Our current offerings are limited due to COVID-19, please check back or call for more info)

A place of rest, abode, making the mind inactive, a state of mental quietude. It means dissolution, rest, repose. The presence of identity, of ego, of individuality is undisturbed by LAYA. In the natural `destruction' of the mind, the way and the seeker both disappear totally, in the silence, the fullness that is the Self. No tendency survives. Identity itself is lost. LAYA is a state in which the mind is calm, unperturbed, free of thoughts.

HOW TO SPA AT LAYA
New Clients - Please complete our online intake form found at the bottom of your confirmation email, or arrive 15mins early to fill out a hard copy
We do not accept reservation changes or cancellations over voicemail or email outside of spa hours.
Any cancellations or changes to reservations should be made with 24 hours notice for one reservation, 48 hours notice for multiple reservations to avoid a cancellation charge.
We do not refund products or merchandise.
We do not refund spa services or yoga passes.
Gift Cards are not transferrable or refundable.
Late cancellations or no-shows for all services are subject to 100% charge.
Our massage prices are $10 more on weekends & holidays
We do not hold reservations without a valid credit card.
All prices are subject to change without notice
Covid / Illness Policy: All situations are different and evaluated by management, however in general if a cancellation is made with less than 24 hrs notice we will charge 100% of the service that is held under your account for later use. This applies applies for severe illnesses such as COVID 19
We do not have a blow dryer onsite - this is a measure to reduce noise pollution. We offer shower caps if needed
